Outdoor Rings

Old Westbury Equestrian Center has two outdoor rings (250’ x 175’ and 120’ x 80’) and a Grand Prix course with natural jumps, ditches, banks and more. The outdoor riding areas are all accessible to trails that are maintained by the Old Westbury Horseman’s Foundation.

In addition to the outdoor all weather rings there is a 26,000 sq. ft. Indoor Arena with a 200’ x 120’ riding space it is one of the largest on the east coast which also has brand new footing. The indoor arena also has a viewing lounge with cathedral ceilings for clients and family to observe our riders. All riding areas are equipped with a dust suppression system

OWEC has two barns, the East barn and the West barn. All stalls are equipped with rubberized Equustall flooring. There are interior and exterior wash stalls in both barns. The East barn has 18 stalls including 8 oversized stalls (15′ x 12′) and 10 courtyard stalls (12′ x 9′). The courtyard has removable shatterproof glass walls for summer ventilation. The West barn has 9 stalls with rubberized with doors on both sides for ventilation.

There is also a fire alarm and sprinkler system installed in all of the facilities.

For our clients we also have tack rooms with individual lockers, a lounge and separate men & women’s restrooms.
